Refund policy

General Returns
Restocking fee of 15% applies to all new-in-box returns before 15 days from purchase date. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Restocking fee of 25% applies to all new-in-box returns before 30 days from purchase date. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
No returns are accepted after 30 days of purchase.
No open box returns are accepted, unless applicable exceptions detailed below apply.
Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required for all returns.

To start a return, you can contact us at Lan@KBFHomeImprovement.com. Please note that returns will have different return addresses depending on which warehouse a product was sent from. Further instructions for exact address for return will be communicated via email. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues; Returns and Exchanges
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Replacements and exchanges provided within the 48 hour frame will not be subject to any restock fees or shipping fees. If return is desired instead of exchange, the 15% and 25% restocking fee will apply before 15 days or 30 days of purchase respectively.

Any issues reported after 48 hours will be treated as a general return, applying the 15% and 25% restocking fee before 15 days or 30 days of purchase respectively.


Non-returnable items

Custom Items:
Custom-made or personalized items are non-returnable. This includes any product that has been specially customized / modified for the customer.

Flooring Items:
Flooring trim accessories such as t-mould, reducers, stairnose, bullnose, edge pieces, etc are non-returnable.

Final sale items:
Certain items marked as “final sale” or "clearance" cannot be returned. These items are sold open-box, in as-is condition.

Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
