Shipping policy

At KBF Home Improvement, we are committed to being your trusted design partner by ensuring your remodeling materials arrive safely and efficiently. We ship exclusively to the 48 continental United States. We do not currently offer international shipping or shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

Processing and Handling Times

  • In-Stock Items: Orders for ready to ship materials are processed and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days.
  • Custom Orders: Materials requiring custom fabrication or specialized ordering typically have a lead time of 2 to 3 weeks before dispatch.

Shipping Methods and Delivery

We utilize a variety of services based on the size and destination of your order:

  • Small Parcel: UPS and USPS are used for hardware and smaller ground services.
  • Freight Shipping: Larger items are shipped via specialized freight carriers. For high value deliveries, a signature or a scheduled delivery appointment will be required.
  • Commercial Requirements: Certain oversized products or materials requiring specialty installation tools must be shipped to a commercial address. Items requiring a forklift at the receiving site are noted in the rate schedule below.

Shipping Rate Schedule

All provided rates are flat fees based on product category:

  • Free Shipping: Available for both residential and commercial destinations. Includes liftgate service where applicable.
    • Freestanding and Floating Vanities
    • Vanity Countertops and Linen Cabinets
    • Mirrors, Faucets, and Sinks
    • Shower Doors, Shower Pans, Drains, and Plumbing Products
    • Toilets and Bathtubs
    • Kitchen Cabinet Sample Doors
  • $3,000 Flat Rate (Specialty Flatbed): Oversized stone slabs and stone shower wall panels. Requires a commercial destination and a forklift at the receiving site.
  • $1,000 Flat Rate (Crate Shipping): Oversized PVC wall panels (typically 4x8 feet). Includes a custom crate for protection. Requires a commercial destination and a forklift at the receiving site.
  • $500 Flat Rate (Freight): Flooring materials including SPC, LVP, laminate, hardwood, tile, pavers, mosaics, and elevation tile. Available for residential and commercial destinations with liftgate service.
  • $400 Flat Rate (Oversized Ground): Wall panels exceeding 9 feet in length, including interior and exterior slat walls. Available for residential and commercial destinations with liftgate service.
  • $35 Flat Rate (Parcel): Cabinet handle hardware for residential and commercial destinations.

Inspection and Damage Claims

To ensure the integrity of your project, please follow these inspection protocols:

  • Immediate Inspection: You must take photos of the shipment and its condition before the delivery driver leaves the site.
  • Reporting Window: Any damage or shipping issues must be reported to KBF Home Improvement within 48 hours of delivery. Photos taken at the time of delivery are required to support claims with the shipping company.

Local Showroom Pickup

In store pickup is available at our main Anaheim showroom.

  • Transfer Time: Because our supplies are housed in multiple locations, please allow 3 to 5 business days to transfer in stock items to the showroom for a single location pickup.
  • Custom Items: Custom orders will require additional lead time as specified at the time of purchase.

Clearance Items

Clearance products, including floor models and liquidations, are available for in store purchase and local pickup only. These items are sold in as is condition. Customers must inspect and accept the condition of clearance products at the time of purchase. No refunds, returns, or exchanges are offered for clearance merchandise.
