Why the box matters more than the door

A cabinet door is what you see. The box is what carries your dishes, absorbs a dishwasher leak, and holds a stone countertop level for twenty years. MDF swells permanently once water reaches it, and a swollen box cannot be repaired, only replaced. Plywood is layered real wood veneer: it holds fasteners, resists moisture and stays square. Every cabinet here is built on a plywood box, and that single decision is the reason these kitchens age well.

Reading the material filter correctly

The material filter describes the door and front frame, not the box. Where it says solid birch, that is the door and frame you are seeing. The box is plywood regardless.

Framed, full overlay

American framed construction adds a face frame across the front of the box, which brings rigidity and a more substantial, traditional feel in the hand. Full overlay doors sit across nearly the whole frame, giving you the clean minimal reveal of frameless cabinetry with the structure of a framed box. It is the combination most clients want once they have seen both.

Finish lines

Brooklyn in Fawn, Bright White, Modern Grey, Slate and Midnight. Oslo in White, Oak and Classic Walnut. Shaker in Designer White, Sand, Moss, Kodiak and Espresso. Each was chosen to sit comfortably beside the stone and flooring we carry, so a kitchen specified entirely from our range holds together without effort.

What the range covers

Base, wall and tall cabinets in standard sizes, together with the details that separate a finished kitchen from an assembled one: toe kick, fillers, corner sink fronts, stemware racks, and decorative range hood covers in tapered, sloped, curved and shiplap profiles with optional brass strapping.

Ready to assemble means the cabinets ship flat and are assembled on site, which is what keeps the value where it is and lets us hold this much range in stock.
