Collection: Kitchen Sinks

The kitchen sink absorbs more use than any other fixture in a home, so we curate this range for how it performs at year ten, not week one. Sizes from 15 inch bar sinks to 36 inch farmhouse, in 304 stainless steel, fireclay, and quartz or granite composite, across undermount, top mount and apron front mounting. Free shipping to the 48 continental states.

Kitchen Sinks

Mounting shapes the whole counter

Undermount sinks sit below the counter so the surface runs uninterrupted into the basin and crumbs sweep straight in, which requires a solid surface countertop and is the natural pairing with stone or quartz. Top mount, or drop-in, rests a rim on the counter, works with any material, and is the most forgiving retrofit. Apron front, or farmhouse, exposes the front face of the sink and replaces the front of the cabinet, which makes it the one mounting choice to settle before your cabinets are ordered rather than after.

Materials, and what each does well

Eighteen gauge 304 stainless steel with a satin brushed finish is the workhorse of this category, and the detail worth looking for is sound deadening: full spray insulation with bottom and side pads is the difference between a sink that absorbs a dropped pot and one that announces it to the whole house. Fireclay is ceramic fired at high temperature, giving a hard, glossy, genuinely traditional surface that suits an apron front beautifully. Quartz and granite composite resists scratching, chipping and heat, arrives in colors rather than metal tones, and hides water spots better than anything else we carry.

Details that matter daily

Bowl depths run from 6 to 10 inches, and deeper is not automatically better: a very deep bowl beneath a standard counter means reaching further down, which is felt across a long evening of dishes. Rear drain placement, common across our stainless line, keeps the drain out of the working center of the basin and frees usable space in the cabinet below. Gauge varies across the range, and the lower the number the thicker the steel.

Workstation models

An integrated ledge carries cutting boards, colanders and drying racks over the basin, turning the sink itself into prep counter. In a smaller kitchen this is the single most transformative upgrade in the category, and it is why these models have become the ones we recommend most often. Many sinks also include protective bottom grids.

Choose the sink before the countertop template if you possibly can, since the cutout follows the sink and not the other way around. Our team is glad to check a sink against your cabinet run before you order.
