Old Carmel Pleasant Valley Engineered Wood Flooring is European oak left with its character on show. Country CDE grading keeps knots, mineral streaking and natural color movement in the board, and a rustic wire brushed texture lifts the grain so the surface reads as timber from across the room. Planks run 8-3/4" wide in random lengths up to 84", a scale that gives large rooms fewer seams and a quieter floor plane. A 9/16" engineered build carries a 3 mm European oak wear layer, deep enough to be sanded and refinished more than once, finished with a rustic wire brushed texture under a matte UV lacquer. No pad is attached, so the underlayment is chosen to suit the subfloor.
